Establishment of the Gates and Automation Skills Task Force

Expressions of Interest are now open for the Fencing Industry Skills Pathway Initiative Gates and Automation Task Force.

The Gates and Automation Task Force is a committee of industry experts brought together to develop core competencies as part of the development of the trade and establishment of a national Code of Practice for:

  • Commercial and Industrial Gates
  • Automatic Gates (general)
  • Gate Safety in design, operation and maintenance

This Task Force is integral to the Fencing Industry Skills Pathway Initiative.

Members of the Task Force include:

  • Directors of Fencing and Gate Businesses that cover fabrication, supply, installation, automation and maintenance of gates.
  • Respected Suppliers of high-quality hardware and automation.
