As a technical consultant and advocate for gate safety, Adrian Pretsel has been a key driver of industrywide collaboration to improve safety outcomes in gates and automation. Working through Fencing Industry Australia and his peer network, he helped bring together a core group that formed the Gates and Automation Task Force and developed the industry Code of Practice, creating tangible, recognised progress on safety and compliance.
Adrian has also supported practical implementation by licensing Gate Safe training content for use in Australia and progressing its delivery as real world training. In parallel, he has helped influence commercial and industrial uptake by securing the adoption of Gate Safe systems by major operators for integration into gate designs.
