Skills Pathway Initiative

National Qualifications

The Initiative

The Fencing Industry Skills Pathway Initiative provides a vital pathway to a nationally recognised trade qualification for current and aspiring Australian fencing workers.

The Initiative brings together the expertise of industry, training providers and employers to produce robust, industry-led skills training packages, ensuring qualifications are nationally recognised and valued to address the critical staff shortages in the sector.

The Fencing Industry Skills Pathway Initiative ensures Australia has a well-trained, competent workforce that is able to provide quality outcomes for fence installation, repair and maintenance needs. The Initiative ensures fence professionals are equipped with the skills and knowledge that are in demand by industry employers.

A new task force for Gates and Automation is also being established.
