BEN DUNCAN
DUNCAN EQUINE GROUP
Ben Duncan is the founder and director of Duncan Equine Group and has worked in fencing for roughly 30 years, with a background as a fencing contractor and long-standing involvement in the equine sector.
After starting out building fences in 1993, including vineyard fencing in Southwest WA, he travelled to the United States in 1995 to find improved horse fencing systems and became the Australian distributor for Horserail. By importing Horserail into Australia and refencing his father’s property in 1998,
Ben helped introduce plastic rail systems to the local equine market. As demand grew, he expanded distribution with a second warehouse in Victoria in 2007. In 2008, electric rail was developed to meet market needs, and Ben continued to develop and refine associated equine fencing products and components, including PVC posts, horsesafe gates, EzyEnds, Stallion Rail and Shockcoat.
His work has contributed to the broader adoption of integrated, purpose-designed horse fencing systems and ongoing product development within the sector.
