Fencing Industry Australia welcomes the recent announcement of additional funding under the AgSkilled program to support training across rural and regional New South Wales.
This new investment recognises the vital role of upskilling in primary industries and will provide more opportunities for workers to access relevant, industry-led training that improves safety, productivity, and career development.
The AgSkilled program continues to strengthen workforce capability across sectors such as fencing, cropping, livestock, viticulture, and more, ensuring that regional businesses have access to the skills they need.
FIA’s Agriculture and Rural Fencing Pilot Program was previously funded under the AgSkilled program and played an important role in developing tailored fencing training aligned with real on-ground needs.
