This 2025 Australian FENCING Awards entry by Linear Fencing & Landscaping showcases precision workmanship and thoughtful design integration at the iconic Manuka Oval.
The project involved installing decorative screen panels and privacy sections for the new toilet blocks, constructed using 40×40 Merbau timber battens.
In some areas, the screens also functioned as balustrades, positioned approximately 900mm above ground level.
Heights varied from 1.8 metres to 2.5 metres, creating a visually balanced and practical result that blended naturally with the setting.
The design incorporated galvanised steel posts with 75×50 steel rails and 100×100 and 75×75 steel post sections, delivering both strength and durability.
The client was stoked with the outcome, saying the finished result was exactly as they had envisioned.
Finalists for the 2025 Australian FENCING Awards will be announced later this year, with winners to be presented at the Gala Awards Dinner in March 2026.
