This elegant project by Ascension Fencing showcases over 15 metres of custom merbau batten screening paired with a matching pedestrian gate.
Precision-cut merbau battens, each 960 mm long, were installed with meticulous 60 mm spacing to balance privacy and light while creating a consistent architectural rhythm above the sandstone base.
Hardwood rails were integrated with pre-installed Pearl White powder coated aluminium posts, requiring exceptional accuracy to achieve a seamless alignment across the entire structure. The result is a refined and enduring design that enhances both the aesthetic and function of the property.

This project is an official entry in the 2025 Australian FENCING Awards. Finalists will be announced at the end of this year, with winners revealed at the Gala Awards Dinner as part of the national Conference in March 2026.
