EAGLE FABRICATION AND WELDING fabricated and installed a full-height aluminium batten screen to a Sydney residence, providing privacy while also functioning as a balustrade. The design incorporated operable pivot-hinged windows to allow airflow and ocean breezes and was fabricated in two main sections to suit the pitched roof line: the primary balustrade/window frame, followed by an upper triangular infill section. Key workmanship requirements included maintaining precise batten alignment prior to powder-coating and eliminating wind rattle through custom in-house 3D-printed drop-bolt holders incorporating a rubber ring for silent, snug engagement.
