The Western Australian Government has committed $3.6 million through the Regional Airports Development Scheme (RADS) to enhance safety and accessibility at 12 regional and remote airports, including vital fencing upgrades in the Pilbara region.
Key Fencing Projects:
- Jigalong Airport – $563,153 for fencing replacement and a lighting system upgrade.
- Punmu Aerodrome – $338,846 for aerodrome fencing upgrades.
