Code of Practice for Gates & Automation available for Stakeholder feedback
Gate Industry Australia invites all stakeholders to review and provide feedback on the Gates and Automation Code of Practice.
This document represents an important step toward establishing a consistent national framework for the safe design, installation, operation, and maintenance of automated gates across Australia.
Developed through the Gate Industry Australia Gates and Automation Taskforce, it reflects extensive industry consultation with manufacturers, installers, safety specialists, and regulators.
The Code is voluntary and intended to provide practical guidance to support safer and more consistent practices across the gate and automation sector.
Stakeholder feedback will play a critical role in refining the content and ensuring it remains realistic, relevant, and aligned with existing Australian Standards and WHS legislation.
Your input is essential to strengthening this document before its final release. Please take the time to review the Code and contribute your feedback to help shape the future of gate safety in Australia.
