Smart Installations were asked by their client to ensure security to the front of the property and enhance the aesthetics in keeping with the home design.
They used aluminium extrusions and 50 x 25mm vertical battens.
Smart Installation faced the following challenges during this job:
- The overall weight of the gate, and lack of width to automate using a support post-bracket were designed to solve the issue
- Post spacing to ensure the panels would be mm perfect with every batten
- Cut out around the existing electrical box
- Raking ground
The final outcome was an elegant design complementing the home.
This project was a Finalist in the 2021 Australian FENCING Awards.
