Dolphin Fencing wins National Award for their Enclosure

This enclosure project by Dolphin Fencing was selected for its thoughtful design and practical execution, which addressed a highly specific client need. The project involved creating a durable, secure, and functional structure to protect pool equipment and irrigation systems from the elements while ensuring the area remained fully accessible.

Dolphin Fencing designed and installed a custom Toughguard20 powder-coated aluminium enclosure fitted with D&D Technologies hardware, including True Close hinges, Lokk Latch, and Q-Bolt. A key challenge was the requirement for a lift-up roof that would stay safely open during access. This was successfully resolved through the integration of gas struts and a reliable hold-up mechanism, resulting in a safe and easy-to-use solution.

The client sought an effective way to safeguard valuable outdoor equipment, and the final product met these expectations and added long-term functionality and ease of maintenance. The design blends practicality with structural integrity, offering a clean and secure enclosure suited to its coastal residential environment.

This project demonstrates how a well-executed solution can solve complex access and protection requirements with a clear focus on user safety and durable construction.
