Saltarin Lodge Equine Fencing completed the installation of four four-rail turnout paddocks and six three-rail turnout yards, arranged in two blocks of three, for a competition horse facility in Goornong.
The project featured welded steel end assemblies, with the left-hand side of each gate designed with an all-steel structure to allow for the hanging of rugs and feed bins, ensuring functionality and durability.
The fencing system utilised galvanised 3000mm steel posts with 115mm oval rail, 2400mm plastic posts, and Stallion Rail Extreme with electric top and bottom rails for enhanced horse safety.
3000mm horse-safe mesh gates, all sourced from Duncan Equine Group, were installed for secure access. The entire structure was finished using Dulux Metalshield paint and primers.
This project won the Innovation & Excellence in Horse Fencing category for the Australian FENCING Awards.
